Sits at the southern edge of Chile’s largest and most renowned wine-making region, the Central Valley. Steeped in a rich wine-making tradition that dates back to the Spanish colonial period Chile’s Central Valley holds over 30,000 hectares of vineyards.
Framed by the Andes Mountains to the East and the Coastal Range to the West, the Central Valley is composed of many smaller valleys and rolling hills.
The Valley’s soil is not only rich, but its proximity to the Pacific Ocean also creates an ideal microclimate for growing of premium wines abundant rainfall in the winter, very warm summers, marked differences in day and night-time temperatures, clear skies and plentiful direct sunlight.
